My name is Katia, I am passionate about history¸ art¸ music¸ photography and natural remedies.
Since childhood, my passion for history was noticed by reading my first encyclopedias¸ and this passion continued with the history books and treatises.
Being an artist¸ the passion for this sport was completely random¸ just as magical was the first arrow shot at the target and thus began the adventure in this sports branch and thus in historical reenactments .
I will help you to develop the basic techniques and I will support you in your evolution through different trainings that will lead you towards perfecting your own technique and sports performance in competitions.
I can't wait to get to know each other¸ let's share things together and shared passion for archery¸ thank you for joining us on this adventure with us.

Brief History of Archery
Archery¸ that is¸ the use of the bow and arrows is documented since the Late Middle Stone Age (about 70𬻀 years ago).
This activity is documented as part of warfare and hunting in the classical period and figures in the mythologies of many cultures until the late 19th century when it was replaced by firearms.
Archers were a widespread¸ often supplementary¸ part of the army in the classical period¸ and archers fought on foot¸ in chariots or on horseback. Archery became prominent in Europe during the late medieval period¸ where victories such as the Battle of Agincourt cemented the longbow in military tradition.
Archery¸ both in hunting¸ and in war¸ it was eventually replaced by firearms in Europe¸ in the late Middle Ages and early modern period. Firearms eventually spread throughout Eurasia via gunpowder empires¸ gradually reducing the importance of archery in warfare throughout the world.
Archery is still practiced today¸ for hunting and as a target shooting sport
We would like to mention that bow hunting in Romania is prohibited and is considered poaching under current legislation.
